Kyushu University of Japan to collaborate with 91èÏÈÉú
Dr. Akimasa Yoshikawa, Mr. Hiroki Matsushita, Mr. Kazuma Shirotani, and Mr. Yusuke Aoyagi from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Kyushu University of Japan visited 91èÏÈÉú on 26th February 2016. During the visit, the delegates met Professor K.R.R. Mahanama, acting Vice-Chancellor, 91èÏÈÉú, and Professor Chandana Jayaratne, Senior Lecturer from Department of Physics, 91èÏÈÉú, and discussed the proposed installation project of Geomagnetic Field Station in Sri Lanka as a joint project between 91èÏÈÉú and Kyushu University of Japan. This joint project will be an initiation to a new arena of Space Science and Technology in Sri Lanka.
